Earrings

I've been playing with my gemstone beads (green and purple jade & turquoise) on Sunday. I quite like these simple little earrings and I wish my ears could stand wearing earrings for longer than a few minutes because I'd love wearing them. Instead I'll most likely put them in my DaWanda shop.

Polymer clay pendant

I've never used polymer clay before so trying it out on Saturday was quite an adventure for me. Of course this is not the only thing I made (would be such a waste of money if I baked one pendant in an oven), but it's the only one I think doesn't need additional work (like sanding). I used sun shaped cookie cutter and floral clear stamp to make the texture.

Easter greeting cards

My friend Uroš suggested I should make a few Easter cards for the tourist shop (members of the Tourist association can sell their handmade products there on commission) and there are the ones I came up with. Nothing really special, but very spring like - at least I hope so.

Spring/Easter wreaths

Yesterday I started trying out different ideas for the spring or Easter decorations. I saw a similar wreath in one of the Slovenian crafting magazines, but apart from the small punch-out flowers, I changed everything. :)

I gave the one on the left to my good friend and the one on the right (sorry about the bad photo) to my mum who loves birds. I still plan to make one for myself and at least two to be sold in a local shop.

Things I used to make them: styrofoam wreath, green rice paper, organza ribbons, paper flowers (will write a tutorial for them later on if anybody is interested), different ribbons, crafting glue, hot glue gun, paper leaves and other decorations. Just take the idea if you like it and roll with it. :)

After I posted this, I had to make 5 more wreaths. The middle one i my by the way. The horrible pink/purple one was ordered in this coulour. I really don't like it, but I guess the customer is always right. :)

Beaded pendants

These pendants seem very popular as I made tons of them. They were either for my pals, for private swap or for birthday presents for my friends here. Everybody loved them. I don't have any in my shop at the moment as I ran out of beads, but as soon as I restock, I'll add one or two.

I also made brooches from them for a girl in Malaysia. They turned out pretty lovely as well.

Christmas cards

I know Christmas is already quite far away, but I still wanted to show you some of the Christmas cards I made last December. My favourite was the one on top left with a removable Christmas ornament. I sold these in our local shop and used some for my pen pals.

Letter sets

Dragonfly and Butterfly letter sets

Just recently I managed to find some Distress ink pads by Tim Holtz. I just love them! Especially the Faded jeans one I used for the butterfly letter set.

Each letter set consists of 6 handstamped (and Butterfly one also corner punched) letter papers and 3 matching handmade and handstamped envelopes.

I used white 90g hammered paper for the Butterfly letter set and 80g coloured paper for the Dragonfly letter set.

Fairy journal

As I already said, I love altering plain, dull notebooks. If only I'd be able to use them afterwards. :) I could never use anything pretty I had - I saved it for "something special" and then threw it away after a few years because notebook pages became yellow and pens dried out.

Anybody else out there as silly as I am?
